Miso-Glazed Steak Skewers with Blistered Shishitos & Crispy Fingerlings

- 1 ½ lb sirloin steak
- 8 oz shishito peppers
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 lb fingerling potatoes
- 2 tbsp miso paste
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
How to Make It
- 1Soak wooden skewers in water for 15 minutes.
- 2Marinate steak with soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger for 15–20 minutes.
- 3Boil potatoes until fork-tender, about 10–12 minutes.
- 4Make miso glaze by combining miso, butter, honey, vinegar, and water over low heat.
- 5Crisp potatoes in a pan until golden, then toss with glaze.
- 6Thread steak and shishito peppers onto skewers.
- 7Grill or pan-sear skewers for 8–10 minutes until cooked to desired doneness.
- 8Serve skewers with potatoes and garnish as desired.
