Deconstructed Pork Egg Roll Bowl with Crispy Wontons & Peanuts

- 1 lb ground pork
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 4 cups green cabbage
- 1 cup carrots
- 3 stalks green onions
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 8 pieces wonton wrappers
- neutral oil
- ½ cup roasted peanuts
- sesame seeds
- sriracha
How to Make It
- 1Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 2Add ground pork and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- 3Add garlic and ginger to the pork and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- 4Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil, mixing well to coat the pork.
- 5Add shredded cabbage and carrots to the skillet.
- 6Cook for 5–7 minutes until vegetables are tender but still slightly crisp.
- 7Stir in green onions and additional soy sauce.
- 8Remove from heat.
- 9Heat oil in a small pan and fry wonton strips until golden and crispy.
- 10Drain on paper towels.
- 11Assemble bowls with pork and vegetable mixture as the base.
- 12Top with crispy wontons, chopped peanuts, sesame seeds, and a drizzle of sriracha if desired.
- 13Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
