Homestyle Turkey Meatloaf Plate with Creamy Mashed Potatoes & Broccoli

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 2 lb russet potatoes
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup milk
  • salt
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt
  • black pepper

How to Make It

  1. 1Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2In a bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, ketchup, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3Mix until just combined.
  4. 4Shape mixture into a loaf and place on a lined baking sheet or in a loaf pan.
  5. 5Bake for 30–35 minutes until cooked through.
  6. 6Meanwhile, boil potatoes in salted water for 12–15 minutes until tender.
  7. 7Drain potatoes and mash with butter, milk, and salt until smooth and creamy.
  8. 8Steam or sauté broccoli with olive oil, salt, and pepper until tender-crisp, about 5–7 minutes.
  9. 9Slice meatloaf and serve with mashed potatoes and broccoli.
