Grilled Steakhouse Salad with Garlic Cheese Toast & Herbed Buttermilk Dressing

- 1 ½ lb sirloin steak
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- black pepper
- 6 cups mixed greens
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 1 medium cucumber
- ¼ cup red onion
- 1 loaf french bread
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup buttermilk
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp fresh dill
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic
- salt
- black pepper
How to Make It
- 1Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- 2Rub steak with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- 3Grill for 4–6 minutes per side until desired doneness.
- 4Let rest, then slice thinly.
- 5Preheat oven broiler.
- 6Mix butter and minced garlic, then spread over cut sides of bread.
- 7Top with shredded mozzarella.
- 8Broil bread for 3–5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 9Slice into pieces.
- 10In a bowl, combine buttermilk, mayonnaise, parsley, dill, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
- 11In a large bowl, toss greens, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.
- 12Top salad with sliced steak and drizzle with dressing.
- 13Serve with cheesy garlic bread on the side.
