Hearty Ground Turkey Chili with Beans, Cheddar & Sour Cream

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 cans kidney beans
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- salt
- black pepper
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 2 stalks green onions
How to Make It
- 1Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- 2Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- 3Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- 4Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- 5Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- 6Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and kidney beans.
- 7Stir to combine.
- 8Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 25–30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 9Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- 10Serve hot topped with sour cream, shredded cheddar, and green onions.
